The name 'Atoa' is derived from 'Arctic to Antarctic' or 'America to Australia', indicating that this yacht is a real world girdler and is designed for unlimited cruising. To permit high latitude sailing her aluminium hull is reinforced at the waterline, and her shallow draft allows her to sail equatorial rivers like the Amazon and anchor in the lagoons of the Pacific Ocean. She is completely equipped for the A1 area.
Built in Holland to the very high standards of the Dutch yacht building industry. Engine, bow thruster generator, water maker, SSB and all other installations are impeccably installed. She is loaded with gear and full of clever ideas, showing that the designers and project manager are experienced yachtsmen.
